Defenders rebuilt and modified

Land Rover Defender 110, Td5, camper

Camper made by 4Land.

The base for building this camper was a 2005 110 SW Td5.
This is another project, fully designed by us.

The living body is based on an insulated and very lightweight body, which has a molded-in intermediate frame in the floor (lowered center of gravity).
The entirety is equipped with a raised roof with unzipped windows and a ventilation system.
Inside, we have a comfortable double bed, a set of cabinets and drawers, a gas stove, a sink, and a gas water heater that also powers an outdoor shower.
The tanks for clean and gray water, are located under the chassis, which also lowers the center of gravity.
Outside, we have a roller shutter, additional storage under the chassis and a small roof rack for the expedition box.
The vehicle has Webast, air conditioning, electric windows and a dual battery system.

Thus configured, the camper allows you to travel freely on highways and off-road.
Thanks to its low unladen weight, the body is not troublesome during off-road driving, nor does it give the feeling of rocking the car from side to side, and allows for smooth traversing of traverses.

Not insignificant is the shape of the box, which follows the lines of the Defender, and the sidewalls themselves are angled, which improves rearward visibility and gives the impression that everything is consistent and just looks good.
