Defenders rebuilt and modified

Defender 110 Td5

It came to us with a mileage of 450,000 km. The vehicle was in poor condition: everything was corroded, the drivetrain was loose, the doors were falling apart, the interior was dilapidated and the wiring was worn out. Moreover, the left side was dented. Surprisingly, the engine ran very well. The rest had to be fixed.

Now, all the doors in our friendly, unusual client’s Def are new. :) The ruined seats and the left side of the body were rebuilt. We also repaired the badly corroded panels and a few spots on the frame.

The vehicle underwent a thorough mechanical inspection. It was fitted with a new suspension, a winch, new extra lighting from Hella, a snorkel, a compressor, and a HD bumper. We tidied up the wiring and installed a second battery, as well as a T-Max dual battery management system.

All of the above was accompanied by a long list of minor fixes in order to breathe a new life into the ageing car.

The vehicle is going on a long journey. It was meant to accommodate 3 people and lots of luggage.

Now, it really looks great for a car with half a million kilometres on it.
